That’s exactly what being a biblicalpreneur is about – looking to the Word of God to guide you along your entrepreneurial journey. It's about using your business to demonstrate your faith and accomplish God’s agenda on the earth. It’s about putting God at the center of every aspect of your business and receiving your instructions from Him. It’s about using your business to honor and glorify God. It’s about using your business to serve others. It’s about using your business to spread the Gospel and win souls to Christ. It’s about recognizing that God is the BEST. BUSINESS. PARTNER. "Times were tough, going to school and then starting my career while trying to juggle a family. I’m still not sure how the Proverbs 31 woman did it, and even more confused that they didn’t at least give her a name in the Bible because girlfriend had it going on! I look back and realize that it was only by the grace of God I made it! There were a lot of sacrifices of finances and time away from family while I went to school, traveled for work, or studied for the CPA exam - sometimes all three! My life was busy and full with educational and professional pursuits that were investments in the betterment of me and my family.

However, there was a price to pay for my pursuits - missed time with my family and relational strain. The consequences were great. I was helping to provide for my family’s financial needs but at the expense of their emotional needs being unmet, and boy, did I hear about it many years later!"

"But don’t worry, Sis. Gone are the days when we were expected to know it all and do it all. Success in business starts with knowing what you know and what you don’t know! Knowing the areas you’re lacking in can help identify the help you need, where to go, or how to research the answers to problems you face. For three whole hours, including the wait time (side-eye), it was a family reunion where, in the privacy of our own homes, we sang-a-long, danced, reminisced about our favorite Brandy or Monica songs, and collectively shared a moment of black pride and solidarity during one of the world’s darkest hours.

I mean, how often do you get to rock with some of the biggest names in entertainment and politics in the comments section? And who got more excited than me to see then Vice Presidential nominee Kamala Harris and former First Lady Michelle Obama (“Hey, girls, hey!”) all up in the comments?

"In general, your mindset is the product of your history and life experiences, commonly referred to as your “grid.” Throughout life, you’ve had experiences, good and bad, that influenced your grid, for better or worse. It impacted your relationships, communication style, disposition, view of life, and how you showed up in the world. However, through focused effort, you can change and improve your mindset!

Reflecting back on Michael Jordan and his journey from being cut from the varsity squad to becoming one of the greatest basketball players of all time. This setback inspired him to work harder; he made the varsity team the next year. As they say, the rest is history. No doubt it took a change in mindset to go from good to great and adopt the characteristics and qualities needed to become a 6x NBA champion, a 6x Finals MVP, a 5x NBA MVP, and a 14x NBA All-Star.
